Lion Band Boosters, Inc.
The Lion Band Booster Club is a 501(c)3 charity that was created to provide financial, logistical and moral support to the bands of Lake Creek High School and Oak Hills Junior High in Montgomery, Texas.
Please join the Booster Club today! Your $5 membership fee (PER FAMILY) puts you on the list for EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION with anything band related all year. You can also find out ways both big and small to support the band. Thanks for your support!

OHJH SCHEDULE
Friday, April 19th - UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest. This is for Honor Band only.
Students will need to wear their blue band polo shirt with black shoes, socks and pants. They will need to arrive at school ready to go to UIL. They can bring a change of clothes for after the contest for the rest of the day.
Saturday May 4th- Gator Music Festival This is for Honor Band only.
The Honor Band will meet this Saturday and travel to Dickinson ISD to play at this festival. We will be back on the same day.
Monday, May 6th- We will be premiering our middle school OHJH Jazz Band at the Lake Creek High School Jazz Concert. Come out and support all our Jazz Bands.
Thursday, May 9th- Spring Concert at LCHS starting at 6:30 pm. (All OHJH band students.) Students will wear blue jeans and their blue band polo shirts.
Wednesday, May 15th- Spring Trip to the water park. All OHJH band students.
I would like to have parent volunteers for April 19th, May 4th and May 15th. If you are interested in helping out, please email me asap. All volunteers must first have a background check done through the school district. If you have any questions, please contact me.

TMEA All-Region Band Reference Recordings
Mr. Veazey has created a series of reference recordings so that students may practice their All-State music at various speeds to assist in practice. These are an invaluable resource to use in preparation for the All-Region audition on Friday, Dec 1st. As we are encouraging as many students to participate in the All-Region process as possible, please encourage your band student to make use of these recordings with the All-State audition music to aid in effective practice. If you would like more information regarding the All-State audition process or for your student to receive a copy of the All-State music, please contact Mr. Boozer.

Beginning band members, we will officially start on the first day of school. If you have yet to pick an instrument to play in the band, please contact me so that we can set up a day and time to visit the band hall so we can determine your student’s instrument before the start of the school year. If you have already been assigned an instrument for the year, please contact a music store or website to purchase instruments and/or supplies for next year. Our closest music store options are Music & Arts in Conroe and H&H Music in The Woodlands. They typically have knowledge of our preferred instruments and supplies on hand.
